One should also note that under the Clinton administration the 1994 Crime Bill was initiated. It implemented the three-strikes mandatory life sentencing for repeat offenders and $9.6bn in funding for prisons. Yeah they say crime was down, thats because everybody was getting locked the hell up for life. It left black communities shattered, in shards, nearly lifeless. In the 22 years since the bill was passed, the federal prison population more than doubled. In 1994, the Bureau of Prisons held 95,162 inmates; today that number is 214,149. I don’t want another Clinton in office but, we’ve been duped time and time again. Lets be honest, neither party has nothing on paper thats for the uplift of black people. We should be doing for ourselves regardless. If you are voting for Hillary are you voting for the stanky-leg dancing, hot-sauce slanging version or the round ’em up, lock ’em up version. Pick your poison.
